She sips the bittersweet drink; she is absorbed, desiring it, wanting to become it. Bittersweet love—painful and beautiful at once. This is an exhibition about the individual and the collective, about mine, yours, hers. It speaks of how we influence, observe, and borrow from one another. Bittersweet (love) “I want to buy your work and place it in my exhibition” is both a tribute to desire and an embrace of jealousy.
